Oz Park

I love Oz Park. It reminds me of long walks with Haley, one of my best friends and former roommates. It reminds me of long walks with my boyfriend, Marco at the beginning of our relationship. It even reminds me of long walks by myself.

I love that if you stand on the hill by the school in the south-west corner, you can see the Sears Tower. I love that there are usually dogs running around and that it’s nice enough that people will spend their fair-weathered weekends here. I love that despite all that, you can still smoke a joint without drawing too much attention to yourself.

Oz Park remains one of my favorite places in the city, and no, this photo was not taken anywhere near Oz Park, but she really isn't very photogenic at night.
