Oak Street Beach

I never used to like to do anything alone. I hated being by myself and felt like I needed someone with me to do anything outside of the house. Now there are a lot of things that I’m comfortable doing alone and a few that I even prefer to do by myself.

Shopping is one. No one really understands the way I shop. I think only my mom and my grandma understood. I guess I learned from them and I like to look at everything. I often shop without necessarily needing anything which gives me even more time to look. Going alone makes me feel less guilty about how long I take.

Sometimes I prefer to walk alone for a lot of the same reasons. Going to the beach is another activity I enjoy doing alone sometimes which is what I’m doing today.

I still love company and spending time with my boyfriend or my friends, and I would consider myself more of an extrovert than an introvert, but I have come to appreciate my alone time.
