The parking lot of Moody Bible Institute

What do you do when there are no good spots at Washington Square Park? Where do you go? You wander around the streets west of the park, chasing the last of the sunlight. You walk past new buildings wondering when it was that they shot up from the ground. You notice the, "for rent" signs and wonder how it is that they don’t charge pet fees. You pass countless people walking their dogs and notice a few restaurants that you hadn’t before. Then you stop at 7/11 on the way home for pre-dinner snacks.

Walking in the city may not always be what you expect it to be, but it’s never boring.
