Morton Pumpkin Festival

Today officially marks Marco’s first visit to the Pumpkin Festival and my first time back since 2019. Not to point fingers, but we would’ve had more time if a certain train company/government agency (ahem, AMTRAK) didn’t delay my ride from Chicago by an hour and a half last night. But, we hit the most important part, the sweets tent.

Even Marco, who doesn’t love pumpkin, approved of the pumpkin ice cream and we bought a half dozen pumpkin donuts to go. A short visit, but certainly worth it. After all, you can’t fully expose someone to Pumpkin Fest their first time visiting.
