Quartino

Girls’ Night! My girls and I have fallen into a rhythm for our nights out and I am not upset about it. They usually consist of dinner at Quartino (ricotta, espresso martinis, and tortellini for me) and long talks back at my apartment. Even when we aren’t necessarily talking about good things or happy things, I’m always happy to listen to my friends, especially when I feel that I can actually help or give advice.

One topic of conversation that we discussed tonight was how cool our lives are and how proud our past selves would be of our current selves. Without sounding too conceited, all three of us are educated, successful, and proud to be in Chicago where we live out each of our unique city dreams every day. While we love the opportunity to guiltlessly complain about our problems with each other, we are still always grateful for our blessings.
