La Salle Flowers

I’m very grateful that I’ve been able to completely remove myself from work when I’m not there; after work, on the weekends, or on vacation. I feel like a few years ago I talked about work constantly. It may have had something to do with how much I worked, sometimes six days a week or 9 days in a row. It could also be that the pandemic and a full calendar year of unemployment showed me that work isn’t your whole life.

Whatever it is that happened and however it happened, I’m grateful. I do love my job, and I feel like when I’m there, I’m very focused and in my element. I just also feel like when I clock out, that person stays in my office.
