Buena Park

I love the little free libraries posted up around the city. It’s so fun to see one and check what’s inside.
Tonight the crickets are chirping and the temperature is perfect. Somehow it smells like wood even though I doubt there are any bonfires near us. The stars seem to be out and I’m thinking it’s a bit of a miracle that I can see as many as I can.
Marco and I saw an empty playground and I tried out the monkey bars. Did they always hurt my hands so much when I was a kid? I did well on the balance beam but was hesitant to try too much more because of the spider webs. Marco pointed out on our way out that the park was closed and we could’ve been arrested. I’ve never liked the idea that parks close.
