Marco’s Parents’ House

It’s an exciting day! I’m so giddy I feel like a kid. It’s Marco’s niece’s quince tonight, his friend’s wedding tomorrow, we’re off work together for two days, and the weather is beautiful; like a perfect, sunny, cool, fall day.

Why is it that women love to dress up? It really is more of a hassle than it’s worth, and all that work just to have to walk around all day or night in shoes that give you blisters and scrub your face at the end of the night so the makeup comes off when you really just want to go to bed. Maybe we do it because it reminds us of a time when women dressed up every day and got to go to balls and wear giant dresses that hardly fit through a doorway, or maybe that’s just me.
