Clark Street

I am a child of technology. There was a computer in my kindergarten class. I’ve been taking computer classes since third grade. But even so, I’m still a little amazed that you can buy tickets and arrange parking for a baseball game all while out on a walk.

Over the weekend, I was thinking how easy it is to spend money and how hard it is to earn it but I do think that it's especially difficult now with the ability to purchase almost anything at our fingertips. No wonder it’s so easy! Maybe that’s just another reason to resist the urge to shop online and make myself go out to shop. I tend to have that attitude and it does make it a lot harder to spend money. My philosophy is that if I’m too lazy to go and get it, I probably shouldn’t be buying it. Of course, I have my exceptions, and there are plenty of healthy and responsible ways to shop online, but it’s also a slippery slope. I can’t imagine what abilities people will have in another 20 years.
