After-Words Bookstore

I’m always on the hunt for discounted books, and I’m not picky. I don’t mind old books that no one has heard of. I’m continuing my search for my new favorite bookstore ever since mine closed. Today was my second time visiting After-Words and I was much more impressed than before. I seemed to have found the cheap section and I picked out something for only $2.

When I got to the register, the guy working told me that he couldn’t accept a card for a purchase less than $5. I didn’t, actually I never have cash, so I told him that I would come back another day. He said that with the 25% off sale they were having, it was basically only a dollar, so he gave it to me for free. I know it’s only $2 but I was so happy!

When I was in school taking hospitality classes, one of my professors had us do an exercise where we wrote about hospitable and inhospitable moments we experienced throughout the few weeks that we took the class. I thought that no one would do anything nice enough for me to be able to write about hospitable moments, but a lot of little things happened that ended up in my essay. This definitely would have been one of them.
