Day 29

Cocoa + Co.

All of the sudden, it’s fall. It’s 70 degrees but it feels so much cooler. I’m noticing yellow tips on the ends of tree branches. The sky stays gray all day. I suppose that the seasons always come and go so fast but this feels especially sudden.

Despite it all, it’s a beautiful day. I considered sitting in the coffee shop I have been frequenting this month, but I turned and kept walking because I felt the need to stay outside. It’s the type of weather that makes me want to wander through a park. I’ll be honest, it has me feeling a little trapped in the city today. I think fall has that effect on me. It’s the only season that makes me wish I had more open spaces. Luckily there are some not so far and they are large enough to keep me occupied for an entire afternoon.
