This author needs no introduction, but just in case you missed the reviews of the last three books of his that I read, check out my brief author bios for Sparks below, or read his official bio from his website:

Three words to describe this read:
Sequential- Few may be aware that this novel was written as the sequel to The Notebook. It’s a little fun fact that separates the readers from the watchers. I really enjoyed learning more about Noah and Allie’s children and their later lives together.
Sweet- The entire sentiment behind the story is lovely in a very mature way. It shows that life and marriage aren’t always perfect and mistakes are often made, but with enough love and effort mistakes can be fixed and new and better memories can be made.
Optimistic- Even though this was my second time reading this book, it had been long enough so that I was still surprised by the ending. While I would love to think that any married man would do what Wilson does for his wife Jane, I have to say that the idea is a little too optimistic. But isn’t that why we love Nicholas Sparks?
Quote:
“But love, I've come to understand, is more than three words mumbled before bedtime. Love is sustained by action, a pattern of devotion in the things we do for each other every day.”
I chose this as my favorite quote simply because I thought it was a really beautiful thought. It shows the true theme of this book.
