Streeterville

Sometimes, maybe too often, I think about how the tiny, seemingly meaningless decisions impact our lives. Not so much in an anxious way, it’s in more of a curious, wonderful way. Just tonight I thought I would walk down one street and changed my mind at the last moment. Then I gazed down a collegiate alleyway and thought to myself, “Hey, I’ve never seen that before.” Enacting free will, I turned that way and got to experience this little slice of quiet in the middle of the city.

I don’t know how or even if these little decisions will greatly impact my life, but it is fun to imagine.
